How AI Search Readiness Can Be Measured Without Fake Rankings
What can be measured from public pages and what requires direct engine observation.
What we can measure
Public crawl access, robots directives, noindex, structured data, page architecture, concise answers, entity markup, references, authorship, update signals, internal links and topical page coverage can be inspected directly.
What we do not simulate
We do not invent AI mention counts, prompt rankings, share of voice or citation positions. Those require direct observations from the relevant search or answer system.
Why a bounded crawl
A small crawl gives fast evidence while limiting server load and abuse risk. It is an audit sample, not a full enterprise crawler.
How scoring works
Each enabled audit category starts at 100. Evidence-backed critical, high, medium and low findings apply deterministic deductions. Informational observations do not reduce the score.
